In it's third year, the Asheville Ski Club Racing and Development Team Training Camp aims to create elite alpine race training for athletes in the southeast and beyond. We are a nonprofit ran by parents dedicated by the sport of skiing, and supported largely by the Asheville Ski Club.

Campers receiving training daily, Monday through Friday, at Timberline at Mt. Hood by a team of coaches. Afternoons are spent with outdoor activities including rafting (for additional cost), hiking, swimming, climbing and sometimes relaxing (it's hard work!).

We stay in the Boy Scout Lodge in Government Camp. Accommodations are rustic, but clean.

Camp cost includes lodging, training, lift tickets, camp sweatshirt and food.

Campers will receive a list of supplies and should expect to bring spending money for two meals a week when we take them on trips, as well as incidentals (like a Huckleberry Shake - google it).

This camp is open to kids ages 9 to 18, with at least one year of alpine racing experience on a team.

Children ages 9 and 10 are required to have a parent present, or receive prior permission based on coach recommendation.

You can pay in full, or pay a $500 deposit per week you're reserving. Reserve by February 1st to lock in 2018 prices of $1,350. Prices increase to $1,500 after February 1st.

We are in need of four parent volunteers each week to assist in kitchen and activity duties. If you're interested, please email Stephanie at stephaniecarson123@gmail. Parent volunteers will receive a 25% discount off the cost of their child's tuition, in addition to free room and board.
